Summary of this release

Easy to install and configure

VisualDock Server is distributed as a single installation package with the latest versions of all the required components.

The installation process completes in the Next-Next-Finish manner. Installing a new upgrade is usually just a matter of seconds.

VisualDock Server uses a standard, digitally-signed Windows installer (MSI) package that operates transactionally and supports unattended installations, as well as distribution via Group Policy.

Native Windows experience

Unlike other solutions available for Windows Server, VisualDock Server offers native Windows installation and administration experience. The Docker engine can be managed without dealing with scripts, configuration files, or manual service restarts:

  • Configure everything directly within the Microsoft Management Console.
  • Monitor server and container status, with quick access to essential commands.
  • Execute common tasks via a dedicated UI, such as creating a container or pulling an image.
  • Track all engine events natively through the Windows Event Log.
  • Use the built-in command shell to run standard docker CLI commands.

Free for commercial use!

VisualDock Server is freely available for commercial use. It can be downloaded and used without registration.
